Founded in 2002 as LT Ching & Associates, the firm has grown steadily over more than two decades and was rebranded to ST & Partners in 2017 to reflect its expanded capabilities and evolving market focus. Ching Leng Team
Managing Partner
Mr. Ching Leng Team brings with him over 30 years of extensive professional experience in audit, accounting, taxation, corporate secretarial, and financial advisory. He has vast experience in providing services and advice to a broad range of clients across diverse industries, including but not limited to hospitality, construction, property development, trading and distribution, manufacturing and engineering.
Founded in 2002 by Mr. Ching, LT Ching & Associates quickly established itself as a trusted professional services firm under his leadership. In 2017, the firm was rebranded as St & Partners to reflect its continued growth, expanded capabilities, and evolving market positioning. Today, under his strategic guidance, the firm has successfully broadened its service offerings to include audit, tax, corporate advisory, and a comprehensive suite of professional services, serving clients with excellence, integrity, and accountability.
Mr Ching is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and a Fellow Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK as well as a Member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia.
Rex Zhou
Principal (Asia)
Mr. Zhou brings with him nearly 20 years of experience in the fields of finance, capital markets, corporate restructuring, secretarial, compliance, financial reporting and financial compliance.
Mr. Zhou founded Merits Consultants Group in 2000, where he has served as the Director to date. Merits Consultants Group specializes in providing accounting, tax, auditing, company secretarial and corporate restructuring and advisory services for various transactions, including corporate secretarial, corporate restructuring, IPO, M&A and project financing.
Prior to founding Merits Consultants Group, Mr. Zhou has held CFO equivalent and company secretarial roles in several public companies listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Singapore Exchange.
Mr. Zhou graduated from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) UK and was admitted Chartered Accountants of ACCA. Mr. Zhou is also a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Tan Kah Ghee
Principal (Singapore)
Mr. Tan brings with him more than 30 years of extensive professional experience in finance, accounting, risk management, initial public offerings (IPOs), mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory, and financial and regulatory compliance.
Throughout his career, Mr. Tan has held senior leadership roles, including Executive Director, Independent Director of listed companies, Chief Financial Officer, and Consulting Director, in several Singapore-listed companies as well as privately held enterprises. In these capacities, he has been responsible for strategic financial management, corporate governance, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and leading complex corporate transactions, including capital market exercises and restructuring initiatives. He has also advised boards and senior management on financial strategy, cross-boarder transactions, risk oversight, ESG and sustainable business growth.
Mr. Tan is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Tay Yuh Han
Manager
Mr. Tay has over 18 years of professional experience spanning auditing, finance, financial reporting, taxation, and corporate governance.
He began his career as an auditor from April 2007 to July 2013, where he was responsible for planning and coordinating audit assignments, supervising audit teams, preparing audit reports, performing audit procedures, and evaluating clients’ internal control systems. He also prepared audit Kassim Chan schedules, and tax computations for clients. From August 2013 to January 2024, Mr. Tay was with a consultancy firm, where he was involved in corporate finance engagements, including fund-raising exercises, initial public offerings (IPOs), and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) projects. In this role, he assisted in the preparation of board memorandum, management discussion and analysis sections, and business plans, and participated in professional meetings to advise clients on financial reporting, and compliance matters. Between February 2024 and July 2025, Mr. Tay served in a company listed on the Singapore Exchange, where he was involved in the Kassim Chan company’s compliance-related matters.
Mr. Tay holds a Diploma in Corporate Administration obtained in 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Accountancy and Financial Management from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom, awarded in 2018.
